Intro
UCIM Lab conducts research on AI-enabled intelligent manufacturing, integrating additive manufacturing (3D printing), data-driven manufacturing system analysis, and agent-based simulation. Our work focuses on AI-assisted design and process optimization for industrial additive manufacturing, machine learning–based modeling of complexity and flexibility in manufacturing systems, and human-in-the-loop agent-based simulation for understanding and improving complex system dynamics such as manufacturing operations and social safety systems.
Research Field
AI for Manufacturing Systems, Computational Design for Additive Manufacturing, Agent-Based Modeling of Complex Systems, Digital Twin and Cyber-Physical Manufacturing
