Laboratory of Advanced Imaging Technology ( LAIT )

Intro

The LAIT lab develops principled AI methods for understanding, generating, and recovering visual and multimodal data. Our research lies at the intersection of computational imaging, computer vision, signal processing, and machine learning, with a particular focus on generative models, representation learning, and inverse problems. We study both fundamental methodologies and real-world systems for image reconstruction, video understanding and generation, multimodal reasoning, and physically grounded perception. Our applications span medical imaging, scientific imaging, robotics, manufacturing AI, and other real-world intelligent imaging systems.
