Intro
The Data Mining Lab at UNIST focuses on discovering meaningful patterns and structural insights from large-scale and complex data, with a primary emphasis on graph data mining and network analysis. The lab develops scalable algorithms that integrate classical algorithmic foundations with modern AI and machine learning techniques to uncover relationships among entities in data. Through rigorous theoretical modeling and empirical validation, the lab addresses real-world challenges in social, industrial, and scientific domains, while training students to engage in the full research cycle from problem formulation to algorithm design and publication.
Research Field
Data Mining, Social Network Analysis, Graph Mining, Clustering, Oracle-based mining
