At STAR Lab, we are dedicated to elevating the safety and reliability of software. Our research focuses on developing innovative automated techniques that enhance software trustworthiness, reliability, and security. We don’t just create these cutting-edge solutions; we rigorously validate and implement them on real-world software systems, ensuring their effectiveness and applicability in the industry. By bridging the gap between research and practice, STAR Lab is driving the future of secure and reliable software.
Our lab is driving several key projects. We are developing test generation and fuzzing techniques to identify security vulnerabilities in AI software such as deep learning frameworks. Additionally, we focus on safety testing for autonomous driving technologies and leverage Large Language Models to address complex software testing tasks.
