Intro

The mission of the ICBM Lab is to utilize and integrate data-driven and knowledge-based models to define and address significant challenges in medicine and healthcare. We work with diverse data types, including time series, and employ a broad range of methodologies, such as statistical analysis, control theory, optimization, machine learning, and AI. Our work spans from fundamental knowledge discovery to the development of innovative applications, targeting unmet/unrecognized needs in clinical medicine and healthcare. We investigate both methodological research and real-world applications, bridging the gap from “code to clinic,” from prediction/inference to clinical decision-making/implementation across biomedical sciences, clinical practice, and healthcare systems for the benefit of physicians, patients, and industry stakeholders.
