Intro
Machine Intelligence and Information Theory (MIIT) Lab. aims to provide the theoretical understanding of machine intelligence (‘MI’) via principles on information theory (‘IT’). Ground on theories, we further develop robust/reliable intelligent systems across diverse frameworks from perspectives, of generalization, robustness, safety, etc. Also, we try to pioneer the next-generation learning paradigms, including quantum machine learning. Another branch is to extend our principled insights toward impactful applications, including medical, industrial AI and intelligent 6G communications.
