Intro

Data Intelligence (DI) Lab explores graph-based and knowledge-driven AI to build responsible and domain-aware intelligent systems. We conduct research at the intersection of Graph Machine Learning, Knowledge Graphs, and Recommender Systems. Our work develops structured knowledge representations, including ontologies and knowledge graphs, and advances multimodal and dynamic representation learning, temporal reasoning over knowledge graphs, network polarization analysis, and the diagnosis and mitigation of algorithmic bias in LLM-powered systems. Through principled and scalable methodologies, we aim to enable ethical recommendation, robust social media analysis, and human-centered responsible AI.

Research Field

Data Mining, Recommender Systems, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), and Trustworthy AI
