Jaejun Yoo is an assistant professor in Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence at UNIST. His main research area lies at the intersection of computer vision, machine learning, and inverse problems, including natural image recovery and medical imaging. He has a strong interest in generative models, representation learning, and the use of signal processing theories for image processing. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Bio & Brain Engineering in 2013 and 2018, respectively, from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea. From 2018 to 2019, he worked as a research scientist at NAVER Clova AI. Prior to joining UNIST, from 2019 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral researcher with Michael Unser at Biomedical Imaging Group, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.
