Saerom Park received a B.S. and Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Seoul National University in 2013 and 2018. She is currently an Assistant Professor in in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Graduate School, UNIST, South Korea. Her research focuses on secure and stable machine learning. Her research focus is on secure and stable machine learning.  This includes stability analysis, robust training from an adversary, and privacy-preserving machine learning through encryption. In addition, she has led research projects developing unsupervised transfer learning methods through statistical analysis and secure data analytics pipelines for fair machine learning. In the future, she would like to develop a secure AI system and seeks to explore integrating statistical and mathematical models into machine learning systems to solve real-world problems.
