Prof. Hyounghun Kim is an assistant professor in the Artificial Intelligence Graduate School and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at UNC-Chapel Hill, advised by Prof. Mohit Bansal. He received M.S. in Computer Science from USC and B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University. His research interests are in natural language processing and multimodal learning focusing on embodied AI, commonsense reasoning, VQA/VideoQA, visual dialogue, as well as AI assistant applications. He has been serving as an action editor (area chair), reviewer, and program committee member for ACL Rolling Review, top conferences, and workshops. He also worked for Adobe Research and Amazon Alexa AI as an intern, and Samsung Electronics as a software engineer.
